
Hot and dry conditions are set to continue in Dhaka, with daytime temperatures expected to remain largely unchanged.
The sky may stay partly cloudy, but there is little chance of rainfall, and overall weather conditions are likely to remain dry.
According to a forecast issued by the Bangladesh Meteorological Department’s Storm Warning Centre at 7:00am on Sunday, no significant changes in weather are expected in Dhaka and nearby areas over the next six hours.
The forecast said partly cloudy skies may prevail until noon, while winds from the south or southwest could blow at speeds of 10 to 15 kilometres per hour.
At 6:00am, the temperature in the capital was recorded at 27.2 degrees Celsius, with humidity at 81 percent. The previous day’s maximum temperature was 35.5 degrees Celsius.
The minimum temperature today is expected to hover around 27 degrees Celsius. Sunset is likely at 6:22pm, while sunrise tomorrow is expected at 5:33am.
Light rainfall was recorded in the city over the past 24 hours, though no further rain is expected in the immediate forecast.
