
It was finalised following a multi-stakeholder consultation on Monday. Ministry of Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment's Senior Secretary and Foreign Affairs Secretary Asad Alam Siam co-chaired the consultation meeting.
The process brought together line ministries, civil society, development partners, the private sector and migrant communities, ensuring the GCM NAP is practical, nationally owned and grounded in real needs. With guidance from the Bangladesh Migration Compact Taskforce, IOM - UN Migration provided technical support throughout the drafting process, reports UNB.
