4 die of measles-like symptoms in 24 hours

Four children have died from suspected measles in the last 24 hours till 8am today with totaling the number of deaths from suspected measles cases 235 since March 15.


According to the Directorate General of Health Services, the number of suspected measles patients in the country was 1,024 in the last 24 hours. 

During this time, 72 confirmed measles patients were admitted to hospitals.

So far, a total of 26,911 suspected measles patients have been admitted to hospitals. Among them, 23,225 have recovered and been discharged, reports BSS.
