
A Dhaka court on Tuesday (June 20) fixed July 25 for the submission of a probe report in a case filed over the deaths of 24 people in an explosion at Siddikbazar in the capital’s Gulistan on March 7.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Shanto Islam Mallik fixed the new date as the investigation officer of the case failed to submit the report today.
Earlier on May 21, the Dhaka court fixed today for report submission in the case.
Police filed the case with Bangshal Police Station after the blast incident.
The horrific blast took place in the basement of the seven-storey building, housing sanitary hardware stores at around 4.50 pm on March 7, leaving 24 people dead and many others injured.
