BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman on Thursday warned that a section within the interim government appears to be trying to create conflict among the pro-democracy forces by framing state reform and elections as opposing priorities.

He expressed concern that such moves were causing frustration among those who joined the recent uprising in the hope of democratic change.

Tarique called on the interim government to clarify its intentions and present a comprehensive roadmap that includes both its reform agenda and a specific timeline for elections. He said transparency is crucial to restore public trust and prevent confusion or division among the forces that contributed to the mass movement.
