PM mourns death of Indian Ghazal legend Pankaj Udhas



Dhaka, Feb 26 - Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Monday expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Indian legendary ghazal and playback singer Pankaj Udhas.

She prayed for the salvation of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.

Pankaj Udhas breathed his last around 11 am on Monday at the Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai after battling a prolonged illness.

Pankaj Udhas was born in Jetpur, Gujarat on May 17, 1951 to Keshubhai Udhas and Jituben Udhas.-UNB
