10 more die of measles-like symptoms in 24hrs

Another 10 children died of measles and measles-like symptoms across the country in the last 24 hours.

 
During the same period, the total number of infected patients reached 732, according to regular report of Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
 
The number of suspected measles patients in the last 24 hours was 674, while the total number of suspected measles cases since March 15 stood at 68,579.
 
In the last 24 hours, 58 confirmed measles cases were recorded, bringing the total number of confirmed cases since March 15 to 8,943.
 
From March 15, a total of 54,798 suspected measles patients were admitted to hospitals. During the same period, 51,511 patients recovered and were discharged from the hospitals.
 
In the last 24 hours, two children died of confirmed measles. Since March 15, the total number of deaths from confirmed measles has reached 90.
 
Additionally, eight deaths from suspected measles were reported in the last 24 hours, while the total number of deaths from suspected measles since March 15 has reached 485.
 
So far, the highest 32,407 measles cases have been reported in the Dhaka Division. Among them, 6,216 cases have been confirmed as measles, reports BSS.
