Polling officer dies while on duty in B’baria

A polling officer died while performing his duties in Brahmanbaria-2 constituency on Thursday morning.


The deceased was identified as Md. Mujahidul Islam,50, a teacher at the Islamic Foundation in Panishwar Union of Sarail upazila.

He fell sick around 8am at the district council auditorium in Sarail Sadar while on duty, said Sarail Upazila Election Officer Mahbubul Haque.

He was rushed to Sarail Upazila Health Complex where doctors declared him dead, reports UNB.
