4 suspected measles patients die in 24 hours: DGHS

Dhaka, Apr 4 – The country has recorded 787 suspected measles cases in the 24 hours till Saturday morning, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

During the period ending at 8:00am, 60 confirmed measles patients were admitted to hospitals, and four suspected measles patients died, according to a PID handout.

The total number of suspected measles patients admitted to hospitals has reached 4,628. Of them, 2,654 have already recovered and been discharged.

Since March 15, a total of 98 suspected measles patients have died, the handout added. - UNB
