At least 30 people were injured in a clash between two groups during an Eid-e-Miladunnabi procession in Kasba upazila, Brahmanbaria, on the morning of September 16.

The conflict erupted around 10:30 AM between members of the Ahle Sunnat wal Jamaat and some students from local madrasahs. Despite prior agreements between the leaders and activists of both groups to avoid any altercations, tensions escalated, leading to the violent confrontation.

Kasba Police Station Inspector Md Billar Hossain stated, “Despite the prior discussions and agreements to maintain peace, a clash still occurred.”
