Dhaka: Civil society activists at an event called for protecting children from the risks of online sexual abuse and exploitation.

INCIDIN Bangladesh and National Action and Coordination Group (NACG) jointly organized the event with a slogan titled ‘Listen to the future, stand up children’s rights’.

Terming children as future generation, the speakers stressed on the promotion of child rights and saving children from the risks of online sexual abuse and exploitation.

AKM Masud Ali, executive director of INCIDIN Bangladesh and chairperson of NACG, chaired the meeting recently.

Dr. Aminul Islam, a member of Public Service Commission (PSC) and former coordinator of South Asia Initiative to End Violence Against Children (SAIEVAC), attended as the chief guest.

A total of 86 NACG members, representatives of international and national NGOs, students and youths participated at the event.
