4 killed in separate road crashes in Gaibandha

Four people were killed in separate road accidents in Gobindaganj and Sundarganj upazilas of Gaibandha on Thursday.
According to Gobindaganj Highway Police, Hasan Pradhan and Siddik Mia were seriously injured after a bus hit their auto-rickshaw while they were crossing a road in Palashbari late Wednesday night.
The injured were taken to Rangpur Medical College Hospital, where they died while undergoing treatment on Thursday.
In another incident, a bus named Rani Special rammed into a stationary Hanif Paribahan bus on the Komorpur flyover along the Dhaka-Rangpur highway, leaving Hanif bus helper Saju Mia dead on the spot.
Meanwhile, a pedestrian was killed after being hit by a motorcycle in Sundarganj on Thursday afternoon, reports UNB.
Police said legal procedures were underway in connection with the incidents.
