Iran has just offered to shorten the number of days for the implementation of its seven-point framework as a condition for talks and peace with the US.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi is trying to indicate that Iran is making concessions in this regard and that it is ready to open the Strait of Hormuz in just two days instead of seven, provided the Americans respond favourably to those seven points.

He also talked about Iran’s readiness in terms of weapons – Iran has upgraded its armed forces capabilities.

He said Iran has had favourable responses from its neighbours, referring to meetings that happened over the last week or so with Arab countries, and with Turkiye and Pakistan.

He said the foreign ministers of those countries may visit Iran in the near future, adding that security should be the responsibility of the region’s countries.

He’s basically explaining that Iran is in charge of Hormuz, Iran has communication with its neighbours, and Iran is ready – with its neighbours – to solve the problems of security and traffic through the Strait of Hormuz without the Americans or any other foreign powers, reports AL Jazeera.
