The workers and employees of 'Olio Apparels Ltd' withdrew their protest at 1am on Wednesday.

The workers and employees of 'Olio Apparels Ltd' withdrew their protest at 1am on Wednesday, after around 17 hours.
Motijheel Police Station patrol inspector Belal Hossain said a meeting was held on Tuesday night where workers, representatives, owners and top police officials were present. Getting an assurance from the owners' side, the workers decided to withdrew their protest.
The factory owners assured them to clear their dues on November 6 at BGMEA Bhaban, Belal Hossain added.
Earlier on Tuesday morning, around 500 workers and employees of the readymade garment factory took to the street at Arambagh under Motijheel Police Station in the city protesting over shifting their workplace to Keraniganj from the area.
They alleged that the authorities closed the factory and shifted the garment to Dakkhinkhan without any official notice. They also alleged that the factory was closed without paying their dues.
