Department of Narcotics Control (DNC) has detained the mastermind of a drug syndicate in an affluent area of the capital.



Department of Narcotics Control (DNC) has detained the mastermind of a drug syndicate in an affluent area of the capital along with 500 grams of ice (Cristal methamphetamine).
The identity of the detained person was not disclosed initially by the DNC men due to investigation.
DNC assistant director (South) Subrata Sarkar said a team of the department conducted a drive in Wari area on Tuesday night and caught him red-handed along with 500 grams of ice.
The detail in this regard will be informed at a press conference to be held at the Gendaria office in the afternoon, he added.
