Two siblings dead in mud wall collapse in Brahmanbaria

Two siblings died after a mud wall had collapsed on them in Bijoynagar upazila of Brahmanbaria early Friday.

Two siblings died after a mud wall had collapsed on them in Bijoynagar upazila of Brahmanbaria early Friday.

Their parents and a sister also sustained injuries in the incident.

The deceased are Rafin and his younger sister Mishu, children of Md Mannaf Miah at Laxmipur village under Pattan union of the upazila.

According to locals, the family members went to their beds after having dinner in their mud house on Thursday night.

Suddenly a wall of another abandoned mud house fell on their house around 5.00am, leaving the five critically injured, they said.

One died on way to Brahmanbaria Sadar Hospital and another died at the hospital.
