Metrorail operator DMTCL gets new MD

Dhaka Mass Transit Compnay Limited gets new MD Mohammad Abdur Rauf.



Dhaka, Sept 9 –Mohammad Abdur Rauf, Additional Project Director (Finance and Procurement) of Dhaka Mass Transit Development Project (line-5) has been appointed as the new managing director of the Dhaka Mass Transit Company Ltd (DMTCL), the operator of Dhaka's popular Metrorail.

The Road Transport and Highways Division of the Road Transport and Bridges Ministry issued a notification in this regard on Monday.

It also cancelled the contractual appointment of MAN Siddique, former Managing Director of DMTCL.

The order will come into effect soon. - UNB
