Sri Lanka Makes ETA Mandatory for All Foreign Tourists

Sri Lanka has made it mandatory for all foreign nationals, including Bangladeshi travellers, to obtain an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) before entering the country for tourism purposes.

The decision follows new directives from Sri Lanka’s Department of Immigration and Emigration aimed at streamlining entry procedures and strengthening border management.

Tourists can obtain the ETA by applying online at the official website www.eta.gov.lk
