When data woke to morning light,
An AI newsroom rose without a door,
Where code had learned to read the world
And stories reached from every shore.
No longer bound by ink and hour,
It scans the globe with tireless eyes,
Sifts through the flood of facts and noise,
And helps the truth more swiftly rise.
It gathers words from distant fields,
Translates the voice of every land,
Then lays its drafts before the desk
Where human hearts and minds still stand.
The AI newsroom is a watchful aid:
It checks the facts and flags the doubt,
But conscience, context, care, and truth
Are what the craft can’t do without.
It shields the reporter from routine,
From danger, delay, and endless strain;
It guards the source, unmasks the fakes,
And helps the honest press remain.
Not to replace the questioning mind,
Nor silence those who seek what’s right,
But to give courage, time, and reach
To those who carry truth to light.
Tomorrow’s newsroom, wide and wise,
Will join the circuit and the pen,
Where tools still serve the public good
And truth still guides, as it did then.
(Some people feel that AI has come to replace the traditional journalism ultimately throwing the working journalists out of job. But in reality, this is not the case; The AI (Artificial Intelligence) assists with speed, translation, verification, and safety, while journalists retain final editorial judgment and ethical responsibility)
