BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman has expressed gratitude to Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus immediately after returning home from a long 17-year in exile.

After reaching Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport this morning he called Chief Adviser over phone and talked with him.

During their conversation, Tarique Rahman expressed gratitude to the Chief Adviser for the arrangement taken for his security and overall management of his homecoming events.

In a video shared on the verified Facebook page of the BNP media cell, it was seen that Tarique Rahman was inquiring about the wellbeing of the Chief Adviser during their phone conversation.

“I thank you on behalf of myself and my family. Specially, my sincere gratitude for the measures taken for my security,” Tarique Rahman was saying.

The video also shows that at the end of the phone call, he sought doa from the Chief Adviser Prof Yunus and ended the conversation by convoying salam.

Tarique Rahman returned to his homeland after 17 years in exile. A Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight carrying Tarique Rahman from London landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka at 11:40 am via Sylhet, reports BSS.
