Islami Andolon won't join polls without PR system
Ameer of Islami Andolon Bangladesh and Charmonai Pir Mufti Syed Rezaul Karim today said most of the political parties of the country including the Islami Andolon will not participate in the election without Proportional Representation (PR) system.
“The votes of every voter will be evaluated through the PR system...Those who want to snatch voting boxes are opposing the PR system,” he said while addressing a rally at Bhola Govt. School ground here this afternoon.
Mufti Rezaul Karima warned that nobody would be allowed to become a dictator as the autocracy has been removed through sacrificing the lives of Abu Sayeed and Mughdos in the country.
About Bhola, the Islami Andolon Ameer said that he has a deep relation with Bhola as he is the son of this soil.
Later, he introduced the candidates for the four parliamentary constituencies of the district before the voters by handing over his party’s election symbols (Hat Pakha) to them.
Mawlana Obayed Bin Mostafa, Mawlana Moslem Uddin, Mawlana Kamal Uddin also addressed the rally while General Secretary Mawlana Tariqul Islam and Organizing Secretary Mawlana Ibrahim Addan moderated the function.
Islami Andolon Bhola district North President MawlanaAtaur Rahman Momtazi chaired the meeting, reports BSS.
