JCD gets 260-member full committee
Dhaka, June 15 - Nearly three and a half months after forming its partial committee, BNP’s student body Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) has announced its full-fledged 260-member committee.
The BNP high command approved the committee, according to a press release signed by party Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi.
Rakibul Islam Rakib and Nasir Uddin Nasir have been appointed as President and General Secretary, respectively, of the new committee.
In the full committee, 41 leaders have been made vice-chairmen, one has been appointed senior joint general secretary, and 111 have been named joint general secretaries.
In March, a seven-member partial central committee of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal was announced, with Rakib and Nasir as its President and General Secretary, respectively.-UNB
