Chief Adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus stressed the importance of creating opportunities for young people, emphasizing that Bangladesh's large population is an asset, not a burden.

"With advancements in technology, no person is a burden. Every individual is a resource — whether in innovation, entrepreneurship, or invention," he stated.

Speaking at a program hosted by the Bangladesh Administrative Service Association (BASA) at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Centre on Sunday, Dr. Yunus described Bangladesh's youth as a powerful force. "Our youth have the potential to conquer the world," he declared, underscoring the need to provide them with the right opportunities.

Dr. Yunus highlighted the distinctiveness of Bangladesh’s younger generation, noting the importance of opening doors for their success. He pointed to the youth’s role in the July uprising as a remarkable global example of their potential.

He also noted Bangladesh’s growing influence in the global workforce, with the country now being the eighth most populous in the world and a valuable source of skilled labor for many nations.

Dr. Yunus called on all sectors of society to unite in building an honest, corruption-free Bangladesh.

The event was attended by Finance Adviser Dr. Salehuddin Ahmed, Law Adviser Dr. Asif Nazrul, Information and Broadcasting Adviser Md. Nahid Islam, Cabinet Secretary Dr. Sheikh Abdur Rashid, and BASA President and LGRD Secretary Md. Nazrul Islam. The program concluded with a cultural performance.
