Dyeing factory catches fire at Dhaka's Shyampur

Dhaka, Nov 13 - A fire has broken out in a dyeing factory in Dhaka’s Shyampur area, said a fire service official on Wednesday morning.

Rakibul Hasan, duty officer of Fire Service and Civil Defence (FSCD) headquarters, said the fire erupted around 7:44am in the factory located in the Shyampur area.

Being informed, three firefighting units rushed to the spot and are trying to tame the flame, he added.

The fire is yet to come under control as of filing this report around 8:50am.

The reason behind the fire couldn’t be known immediately, he said further.-UNB
