At least three people were killed when a fire broke out in a house in Purba Shaheed Nagar area under Bayazid police station in Chattogram.



At least three people were killed when a fire broke out in a house in Purba Shaheed Nagar area under Bayazid police station in Chattogram.

The deceased were known as Nur Nahar Begum, 30, her son Maruf, 2, and a neighbor Imam Uddin, 23.

Fire service sources said the fire originated from an unknown source in the residence on Sunday morning (May 28). Later, on information, a team of fire service rushed to the spot and brought the blaze under control.

Agrabadh Fire Station Chief Leader Chitto Ranjan Baidda confirmed the matter.
