The Directorate General of the Health Services (DGHS) has fixed dengue test charge at a maximum of Tk 500 at private hospitals and Tk 100 at government hospitals.

“Stern action will be taken against the hospitals which will take extra charges from the fixed rate,” said Prof Dr Ahmedul Kabir, additional director general of the (DGHS).

He came up with the warning at a press briefing held at the conference room of the DGHS on Sunday (May 28) morning.
