OIC Secy Gen Receives Iraq’s Permanent Representative

OIC Secretary General Hissein Brahim Taha, met with H.E. Mohammed Samir Al-Naqshbandi, the Consul-General and Permanent Representative of the Republic of Iraq to the OIC, in his office at the General Secretariat headquarter



Jeddah, 29 January, 2025 - On January 26, 2025, the Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), H.E. Mr. Hissein Brahim Taha, met with H.E. Mohammed Samir Al-Naqshbandi, the Consul-General and Permanent Representative of the Republic of Iraq to the OIC, in his office at the General Secretariat headquarters.

During the meeting, the Secretary-General commended Iraq for its pioneering role in the OIC and joint Islamic action.

The two parties engaged in a detailed dialogue regarding potential collaborative initiatives between the OIC and the Republic of Iraq, addressing various pertinent topics of mutual interest.- OIC News
