The visiting Chinese medical team has extended full support for Bangladesh in treating the victims of last week's tragic Bangladesh Air Force fighter aircraft crash at Milestone School in Dhaka's Uttara area.

The team, comprised of doctors and nurses from Wuhan Third Hospital, continued their collaborative efforts today at the Bangladesh Institute of Burns and Plastic Surgery, offering technical assistance and hands-on support for their Bangladeshi counterparts, the Chinese Embassy in Dhaka said in a statement.

The Chinese doctors advised local medical professionals on methods for preventing wound infections and improving the routine care of burn and trauma patients.

They also examined the condition of the injured, assisted in cleaning wounds and changing dressings and supported arterial puncture procedures.

Additionally, the team provided surgical guidance and expertise during patient care.

In a show of international cooperation, the Chinese medical professionals held joint consultations with doctors from Bangladesh as well as medical teams from Singapore and India who are also involved in treating the victims of the crash, reports BSS.

"The Chinese side is willing to do whatever they can to support and assist the Bangladeshi side in treating the injured," said the Chinese embassy.
