The plan to take BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia to London has been delayed as the special air ambulance, provided by the Emir of Qatar, failed to arrive due to a technical fault.

Citing BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, Media cell member Shayrul Kabir Khan said that the air ambulance will not arrive Friday due to a technical fault. If all goes well, it might arrive on Saturday, reports BSS.

Fakhrul said, "If Madam's (Begum Khaleda Zia) health is deemed suitable for the journey and the medical board gives its decision, she will depart for London on December 7 (Sunday), Insha'Allah."
