Chawkbazar polythene factory fire doused after 2 hrs

A fire broke out at a polythene factory in Old Dhaka’s Chawk Bazar area on Monday .

A fire that broke out at 'Dhaka Plastic' polythene factory in old Dhaka's Chawkbazar area was doused after two hours of frantic efforts.
Due to the enthusiastic crowd, firemen faced trouble to douse the blaze.
They took the fire under their control at about 2:20pm that broke out at the factory  12 noon on Monday.

A fire broke out at a polythene factory in Old Dhaka’s Chawk Bazar area.The fire originated at around 12pm at the factory at Kamalbagh area.
On information, ten firefighting units rushed to the spot and started working to douse the blaze, said Khaleda Yeasmin, duty officer of Fire Service and Civil Defence Headquarters.
The reason behind the blaze and extent of damages caused by it could not be known immediately, she said.
