Patuakhali: BNP Central Committee Training Secretary ABM Mosharraf Hossain, who was elected MP by a margin of 53,000 votes in the 13th National Parliament election, is wanted by the people of his constituency as a minister this time. A press conference was held at Kalapara Press Club around 11 am today, Sunday, demanding that he be made a member of the cabinet. Representatives of civil society, people from different classes and professions, along with local media workers, were present at the time.
Kalapara Civil Society Spokesperson Mustafa Zaman Sujan said at the press conference that Patuakhali-4 constituency is one of the most important constituencies in Bangladesh with an administrative structure of two upazilas, three thanas, and two municipalities, and one of the most important constituencies in Barisal division. In this constituency, Kalapara Upazila has Sher-e-Bangla Naval Base, Payra Sea Port, 1320 MW Payra Thermal Power Plant, Patuakhali Power Plant, Submarine Cable Landing Station, Radar Station, Fish Landing Center, Jute Research Center, Fish Research Center and Kuakata Tourism Center, Ma Hilsa Breeding Center and Sanctuary. If a skilled, experienced member of parliament like ABM Mosharraf Hossain is given the responsibility of any ministry for the planned and sustainable development of this township, he will be 100% successful.
If we get such a successful politician with long political experience and leadership skills as a minister, he will be successful in turning this township to the central coast of the country, into a corridor of economic development. This demand is the demand of the lives of three lakh voters. Therefore, the Kalapara civil society strongly demands that ABM Mosharraf Hossain, the desired representative of this township with immense potential, be given a place in the Council of Ministers. - Gofran Palash
