Missing physician of Kishoreganj now at DB custody

Physician Mirza Kawsar (28) of President Abdul Hamid Medical College located in Karimganj upazila of Kishoreganj was not abducted.



Physician Mirza Kawsar (28) of President Abdul Hamid Medical College located in Karimganj upazila of Kishoreganj was not abducted. He is now at police custody in Detective Branch (DB) office in Dhaka. Law enforcers picked him for his alleged involvement in militancy.
Prof Dr. A.N.M Naushad Khan, Principal of President Abdul Hamid Medical College, confirmed the information around 9 am on Monday (November 14).
“Chief of the Detective Branch (DB) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Harun or Rashid phoned me around 10 pm on Sunday and talked about the whereabouts of physician Mirza Kawsar,” said Dr. Naushad Khan.
Earlier around 7 pm on November 12, some unknown people picked Mirza Kawsar from Medics coaching centre of the area and took him with them in a microbus.
