Farmer killed in lightning strike in Nilphamari

A farmer was killed in lightning strike at Kachua village of Laxmichap union in Sadar upazila here this afternoon.


The deceased was Kashi Nath Roy, 62, a resident of the village.

Lightning followed by a rainstorm hit Kashi Nath around 2 pm when he was going to bring cows from a field near his house, said Laxmichap union parishad chairman Md. Aminur Rahman, reports BSS.
