The event brought together EuroCham members, the EU Delegation, Member State ambassadors and trade representatives, businesses, partners, and Government of Bangladesh officials to advance dialogue and cooperation for European businesses.
The event, themed ‘Delivering for European Businesses’, featured EuroCham’s first Annual General Meeting, the inaugural Advisory Council Meeting and a Networking Cocktail.
The event included Ambassadors from Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Spain, and France, and representatives from above countries as well as Netherlands and Italy, said a media release issued on Sunday.
EuroCham Chairperson Nuria Lopez, in her remarks, underscored EuroCham’s advocacy role in Brussels for Bangladesh, including on GSP+ and a possible FTA in the future.
She also highlighted EuroCham’s role in advocating for the interests of EU investors in Bangladesh and supporting a more transparent, business-friendly ecosystem—one that enables more European investors to consider Bangladesh’s potential as a manufacturing investment hub, reports UNB.
