Japanese ambassador calls on Nasrul Hamid

Japanese Ambassador in Dhaka IWAMA Kiminori made a courtesy call on State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid at his secretariat office here today.

During the meeting, they discussed various issues related to mutual interest.
The ambassador congratulated Nasrul Hamid for his re-appointment as the State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources, said, we will work together on energy master plan and capacity building, reports BSS.
Initiatives to increase the activities of Japanese companies in Bangladesh were also discussed.
The state minister welcomed the Japanese ambassador and said that Japan is a tried friend of Bangladesh. We prioritize investment by Japanese companies. At this time, there was a detailed discussion about investment and future plans in Bangladesh.
