Humaiun Kobir calls on Kuwait’s Deputy FM

State Minister for Foreign Affairs Humaiun Kobir on Thursday called on Kuwait’s Deputy Foreign Minister Hamad Al-Mashaan on the margins of the 23rd OIC Extraordinary CFM in Jeddah.


He reiterated Bangladesh’s solidarity with Kuwait in the ongoing Middle East crisis and expressed Bangladesh’s interest in further strengthening bilateral cooperation.

The Kuwaiti Deputy Foreign Minister thanked Bangladesh for its expression of solidarity and urged the convening of the next session of the Bangladesh-Kuwait Joint Commission at an early date to advance bilateral cooperation.

The State Minister welcomed the proposal and expressed Bangladesh’s readiness to work towards convening the meeting soon, reports UNB.
