Passenger bus torched in capital’s Khilkhet

A passenger bus was torched in the capital’s Khilkhet area on Monday night.



A passenger bus was torched in the capital’s Khilkhet area on Monday night.

According to fire service, miscreants set fire to the bus of Akash Paribahan around 8:30pm.

Being informed, two units rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control. There were no reports of casualties.

Earlier, a bus, carrying Dhaka University staff and students, was torched around 5:20pm in Mirpur-10. Passengers and local people brought the fire under control.
