According to him, the result will follow if they can maintain the process well.
"I think we shouldn't think about results because results will come eventually. What matters to me is how well we maintain our process," he said ahead of the first match in Sharjah.
"It is imperative to focus on the process. Things become easier if you are on the right process."
Liton, who begins his T20 captaincy journey with this series, said he wants the players to enjoy the game and play with a free mind.
"The message is simple: feel free. T20 cricket can be tense at times. I want every player to play as freely as possible and enjoy the game," he remarked.
At the same time, Liton warned his teammates not to take UAE lightly, saying that the home team always gets the advantage of their own conditions.
UAE, however, have never beaten Bangladesh in T20 format after playing three matches. In fact, Bangladesh won the two-match series during their last tour here in 2022.
"We will try our best to play good cricket, but we have to remember that UAE are a strong side at home," he said.
"They know the conditions better than us because they play here regularly. But we also have a strong team. We'll focus on adapting and putting in a good performance."
Liton further said winning both matches is his first priority, but at the same time he wants to see progress in specific areas they have worked on in recent months, reports BSS.
"Of course, our first priority is to win both matches," he said. "But at the same time, we want to see the progress in the areas we've been working on recently."
