Baghdad, Mar 12 – Two foreign oil tankers caught fire in Iraqi territorial waters near the al-Faw port on Wednesday.

Authorities evacuated 25 crew members, but at least one has died, while firefighting teams continue to battle the flames, reports Al Jazeera.

Preliminary investigations suggest the attack may have involved explosive-laden boats linked to Iran, according to Iraqi officials and a Reuters report. - UNB
