Final phase of National Chess Championship begins tomorrow

Dhaka, 17 Sept -The final phase of the 49th National Chess Championship begins at Youth Tower auditorium in city's Sheorapara Thursday.

Ahead of the championshp, the number draw and technical meeting of the participating players were held Wednesday at the hall of the Bangladesh Chess Federation.

According to the number draw, the numbers of the players are International Master Md. Minhaz Uddin of Bangladesh Navy, Mohammed Shaker Ullah of Cox's Bazar district, FIDE Master Subrata Biswas of Dhaka University, International Master Abu Safian Shakil, FIDE Master Tahsin Tajwar Zia of Bangladesh Ansar, Candidate Master Md. Abu Hanif of Sadharan Bima Corporation, FIDE Master Sakline Mostafa Sajid of Bangladesh Army, FIDE Master Md. Sharif Hossain of Bangladesh Navy, Aanat Choudhury, FIDE Master Khandaker Aminul Islam of Bangladesh Navy, Grandmaster Niaz Murshed of Bangladesh Ansar, last year's runner-up International Master Mohammad Fahad Rahman of Bangladesh Ansar, last year's champion International Master Manon Reza Neer of Bangladesh Navy and FIDE Master Mohammad Javed of Bangladesh Ansar. 

In the first round, International Master Md. Minhaz Uddin will play against his team FIDE Master Mohammad Javed, Mohammad Shaker Ullah meets International Master Manon Reja Neer, FIDE Master Subrota Biswas faces International Master Mohammad Fahad Rahman, International Master Abu Safian Shakil meets takes on Grandmaster Niaz Murshed, FIDE Master Tahsin Tajwar Zia faces against FIDE Master Khandaker Aminul Islam, Candidate Master Md. Abu Hanif takes on against Aanat Choudhury and FIDE Master Sakline Mostafa Sajid plays against FIDE Master Md. Sharif Hossain.BSS
