The government has officially approved the revised second campus project of Jagannath University (JnU), marking a major milestone in the institution's development journey.

The Ministry of Planning has issued the Government Order (GO) for the project, signaling the formal launch of the revised plan, said a press release.

Describing the development as a 'historic achievement' and 'groundbreaking progress' for the university, the release expressed heartfelt gratitude to students, teachers, officers and employees for their continued support throughout the long campaign for campus expansion.

The university authorities also extended their thanks to all relevant government departments and the advisers of the Ministries of Education, Planning and Finance for their cooperation and contribution to realizing the project.

The second campus is expected to significantly enhance Jagannath University's capacity and infrastructure, helping meet the growing demand for higher education in the country, reports BSS.
