Four Killed in Gazipur Road Crash

Four people lost their lives in a tragic road accident when a rickshaw was crushed between a truck and a covered van on the Dhaka-Mymensingh highway in the Bhogra Bypass area on Wednesday night.


The victims have been identified as Saleha Akter, 26, Imran Hossain Rajon, 38, Md Mamun, 23, and Md Dulal, 42.

According to Dulal Chandra, a sub-inspector at Bason Police Station, the rickshaw was struck by the truck, causing it to become wedged between the truck and the covered van. The impact left all four passengers severely injured.

The victims were rushed to Shaheed Tajuddin Medical College and Hospital, where doctors declared them dead upon arrival. The authorities are investigating the cause of the collision.
