Schoolgirl killed in Bogura road accident

A tragic road accident claimed the life of a seven-year-old schoolgirl in Sluice Gate area near Chandmuha Bazar in Sadar upazila of the district on Wednesday afternoon.


The deceased was identified as Rimi Khatun, a class two student of Chandmuha Government Primary School and the daughter of Rana Mia, a resident of Saralpur Paikartala area of the upazila.

The accident took place when a speedy easy bike hit Rimi as she was returning home from school. 

She died on the spot.

Officer-in-Charge of Sadar Police station Ibrahim Ali confirmed the matter and said the body was handed over to relatives for burial, reports BSS.
