Gunmen Kill 10, Injure 10 in South African Township Attack

At least 10 people were killed and 10 others injured after unknown gunmen opened fire in Bekkersdal, a township about 40 kilometres southwest of Johannesburg, police said Sunday.
Authorities said the motive behind the attack remains unclear. “Some victims were shot randomly in the streets by unidentified assailants,” a police statement added.
Police have launched an investigation and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
