Iranian officials confirm negotiations have been under way with the assistance of Qatar and Pakistan, the main mediators of the talks between Iran and the United States.
They are putting emphasis on their conditions about the potential for any resolution – any long-lasting peace at the end of the day.
They have been calling for the release of their frozen assets, in addition to the removal of the sanctions, which have a huge impact on Iran’s already deteriorated economic situation.
