Trump has taken to his Truth Social platform to level multiple claims that Iran’s economy is critically failing.
“Iran’s oil exports are crashing!” he said in one post. In another, he claimed, “Iran’s currency is destroyed”, while another said, “Iran is a failing nation!”
In what appears to be an AI-generated image, a US fighter jet can be seen flying towards an island under attack, with the caption “Bye, bye Kharg”, in reference to Kharg Island, the main hub for Iran’s oil exports, which Trump has repeatedly threatened to destroy, reports AL Jazeera.
