Rains, Thundershowers Expected in Parts of BD Over the Next 5 Days

The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecasted rainfall and thunder showers, accompanied by brief gusty winds, across several regions of the country over the next five days, beginning Saturday.


Additionally, the BMD predicts rain in isolated areas of the Sylhet division within the next 24 hours, starting from 9 AM on Saturday. Meanwhile, other parts of the country are expected to experience dry weather with intermittent partly cloudy skies.

In particular, rain and thundershowers are likely to affect parts of the Rangpur division during this period. Daytime temperatures may see a slight increase, while nighttime temperatures are expected to remain relatively stable across the country.

The weather patterns are being influenced by a trough of low pressure extending over West Bengal and its neighboring regions. A seasonal low continues to persist over the South Bay, further contributing to the changing weather conditions.
