Temperature may fall further in next 5 days: BMD

Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has predicted that temperature may fall in the next five days since 9am on Wednesday.


“Moderate to thick fog may occur at places over northern and northeastern parts of the country and light to moderate fog may occur at places elsewhere over the country during late night till morning, Met office said.

Night temperature may fall by 1-2°C and day temperature may fall slightly over the country.

The maximum temperature on Tuesday was recorded 11.7 degree Celsius in Badalgachhi in Rajshahi district while the lowest one was 30.0 degrees Celsius in Cox’s Bazar.

Besides, the low pressure area over Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas now lies over Southwest Bay and adjoining Southeast Bay as a well-marked low, reports UNB.

Its associated trough extends up to North Bay. Ridge of sub-continental high extends up to Bihar and adjoining areas.
