Dry Weather Predicted for Next 24 Hours
The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecasted dry weather with a temporarily partly cloudy sky across the country for the next 24 hours, starting this morning.
According to a release from the Met Office, "Weather is expected to remain dry with periods of partly cloudy skies."
Additionally, light to moderate fog may develop in some areas during late night to early morning hours.
The weather pattern is influenced by a ridge of sub-continental high pressure extending up to Bihar and neighboring areas. Meanwhile, the seasonal low over the South Bay extends its trough up to the Northeast Bay, the release added.
On Thursday, Teknaf recorded the highest temperature at 30.3°C, while Dinajpur reported the lowest temperature of 11.8°C today.
Meteorologists predict a slight drop in both night temperatures (by 1-2°C) and day temperatures across the country.
In Dhaka, the sun will set at 5:11 PM today and rise at 6:29 AM tomorrow.
