Rain or thundershowers likely in parts of Bangladesh

Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has predicted rains or thundershowers in parts of Bangladesh in 24 hours commencing at 9 am on Wednesday.

“Light to moderate rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind and lightning flashes is likely to occur at many places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over the country.,” said a Met office bulletin.

Day temperature may fall by 1-2°C and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.

Besides, a low-pressure area is likely to form over Eastcentral Bay of Bengal, reports UNB.
